In early 2018 I moved into an empty industrial space and set about building an office and studio. Despite the scramble to get the work done I noticed the colours and form of the materials we were using. On completion I decided to do more research on the materials and attempted a playful still life of each trade and then bought the men and women back to create a portrait inspired by each still life. I worked with my regular stylist and props genius Vicky Twyman and this was the springboard for a host of commissions and more projects.
