Separation
The project was a response to the pandemic. I wanted to allude to the concept of being apart but still remaining connected.

Not a new departure but a compliment to doing portraiture that involves objects. A mix of personal work and commissions and sometimes no portraits at all.

Trades
In early 2018 I moved into an empty industrial space and set about building an office and studio. Despite the scramble to get the work done I noticed the colours and form of the materials we were using. On completion I decided to do more research on the materials and attempted a playful still life of each trade and then bought the men back to create a portrait inspired by each still life.
Arise and Fall
A film made for the Listeners Project using SPARKS new album as inspiration. Shot entirely using still images on location at Millennium Mills in east London. Thanks to Adrian Wolfson for everything.
Bio Fruit
A still life project with stylist Victoria Twyman using fruit and tights to create a biological underworld of cells and organs.
How To Have Sex on the Radio
On an assignment to photograph an actor I witnessed a radio drama being recorded and was captivated by the strange behaviour of the sound technician.
